Hello, my name is Andrea Swallow (she/her).

​Having lived most of my life within Vancouver Island's natural beauty and having family connections with deep roots on the Saanich Peninsula, it is with great respect and care that

I acknowledge living on the unceded territory of the Wsanec people.

Having personally encountered adversity, trauma and complex loss at a young age, my perspective has given me a sensitive and compassionate understanding of the emotions and ways in which people are affected by, and process life's challenges. I believe healing starts when we can acknowledge and validate our pain, name what needs to shift, together, and show up for ourselves and each other. 

​

​ My work and volunteer experience has always revolved around supporting youth and minorities for I am passionate about diversity, community and belonging, knowing how beneficial and profoundly life altering these connections can be.

Advocacy and social justice keep my internal flame lit while connections and relationships fuel it.
